A Creative Toy Award Winner

Pre-Printing Fun was written for young children who are just learning how to use writing tools and for special learners who find fine motor tasks challenging. All of the activities are reproducible, developmentally appropriate, and are designed to strengthen fine motor skills, improve eye-hand coordination, increase pencil control, and provide children with successful “paper and pencil” experiences.

Pre-Printing Fun also teaches children the nine necessary strokes for learning how to print all of the upper- and lowercase alphabet letters. These strokes (straight lines, slanted lines, circles, and curves) are introduced and practiced in fun dot-to-dot activities, mazes, coloring, finish the picture, picture graphs, puzzles, tracing, drawing, and so many more early pencil, crayon, and scissor activities.

Young students will build their fine motor skills and learn how to print when they use the “fun” activities in Pre-Printing Fun.

Activities included:

  • dot-to-dots
  • tracing
  • following directions
  • puzzles
  • graphing pictures
  • mazes
  • finish the picture
  • cutting & pasting
  • coloring
  • drawing shapes
  • alphabet letters
